Al Jazeera's English-language website became unreachable from Pakistani networks on 3 August 2026, a day after the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting accused the broadcaster of "yellow journalism" over its coverage of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections. JournalismPakistan verified that the site could not be reached over multiple Pakistani connections and browsers. Neither the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority nor the ministry has acknowledged ordering a block, and the Arabic service and television broadcasts are not reported as affected.

Freedom House (Freedom on the Net 2024) and regional media monitoring confirm that the United Arab Emirates unblocked Al Jazeera's main websites (aljazeera.com and aljazeera.net) in early 2023 following post-Al-Ula normalization, though television broadcast licensing and local bureau operations remain subject to state regulation.
