Eritrea

Islamic Republic of Iran

Zoom is inaccessible in Islamic Republic of Iran due to both US sanctions compliance and Islamic Republic of Iran's domestic internet censorship. Islamic Republic of Iran is on Zoom's official restricted-countries list under OFAC regulations, and Islamic Republic of Iran's own filtering infrastructure independently blocks the service.

North Korea

People's Republic of China

Not officially banned but heavily restricted by the Great Firewall; joining meetings is possible but hosting is often unreliable, connections frequently drop, and most users rely on a VPN for consistent access. Zoom suspended direct sales and new individual signups in mainland People's Republic of China in August 2020 but still operates in the country through licensed local partners — Bizconf, Suirui Zhumu and Systec Umeet — which handle sales, support and compliance on its behalf.

Turkmenistan

Zoom is blocked in Turkmenistan under the state-monopoly ISP's blanket filtering of foreign communication and internet services.
